NewsAugust 8, 2013 - Glendale Star "Mobile Unit Assists Lower Income Families" Article July 2013 - NCOHF continues to be our strategic partner in funding grants and or dental supplies every year for CDF since 2009. February 2013 - Founded in 1997, the Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation was created to promote oral health and prevent dental disease in children and youth through age 18, with a particular emphasis in underserved and uninsured communities. In 2013, Community Dental was awarded as a 2013 Grant Recipient. Thank you Delta Dental! December 2012 - Cardinals Charities supports programs designed to improve the quality of life and enhance opportunities for children, women, and minorities in the state of Arizona. Community Dental wrapped up 2012 with a grant awarded from Cardinal Charities Thank you for helping us bring in a great 2012! August 2012 -Build-A-Bear Workshop® is proud to support children's health and wellness causes through the sale of Champ – A Champion Fur Kids, a beary special furry friend available in all of our stores. We donate one dollar of the proceeds from the sale of each Champ to the Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation to support health and wellness causes. This money is directly granted to children's health and wellness programs in the United States and Canada twice a year. June 2012 -Phoenix Suns Charities Board just announced Community Dental Foundation as a selected Grant recipient out of 300 applicants. Thank you Phoenix Suns for selecting our charity to promote the smiles of our future! May 2012 - Gila River Indian Community awarded us a 2 year grant of $200,000 to help the local communite with dental services. We are happy we can help more children restore their smiles! Thank you Gila River. May 2012 - May 2nd was the Big Check presentation from Godaddy to Community Dental Foundation for $100,000. Good Morning Arizona aired a clip of the event. It was held at a very special place, that we hold dear to our hearts... Children's First Academy of PhoenixApril 2012 - We were selected as grant receipent for the Arizona Women's Partnership 2012. On April 28, 2012, we attended their Wine, Women & Jazz fundraiser. There was great food, wine, jazz! All for a great cause. We were happy to meet Paula Cullison - President of the Arizona Women's Partnership. April 2012 - We are very happy that Del E.Webb gave us a grant in 2012 for $10K. Thank you Del E Webb for your continued support in helping us restore more smiles in our community! January 2012 - The Arizona Diamondback Foundation is supporting us for the 2nd year in a row as a grant recipient for 2011. We are thankful for Arizona Diamondback's continued support! March 2011 - Thank you for all of those who supported and attended our 2nd Tooth Fairy Garden Party - Splendor in Spring luncheon hosted at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess! February 2011 - Come join us for our 2nd Tooth Fairy Garden Party - Splendor in Spring luncheon hosted at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess! Special Presentation by the Phoenix Theatre. Continuing Education by Dr. Gary Radz will be provided to dentists to attain credits. December 2010 -Thanks to the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation for recognizing us as 2010 Program Grants recipient! December 2010 - Thetford Corp and Norcold recently donated two refrigerators and portable toilet for the new mobile dental clinic currently being constructed for projected delivery date of first quarter 2011. December 2010 - Community Dental has joined Birk Development and Artistic Design in "Design for Hope". By hiring professionals to design or build your interior/exterior place, proceeds will be donated to Community Dental Foundation to help the children's teeth in your community! October 2010 - Community Dental was mentioned in "On the Road - Homeless Services for Children Go Mobile" article that was published in "Uncensored American Family Experiences with Poverty and Homelessness" Fall 2010 edition. May 2010 - Community Dental has been nominated as finalist for "2010 Health Care Heroes" by Phoenix Business Journal and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, along with Abrazo Health Care, Healthcare Trust of America, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, A.T. Still University, Delta Dental, Plaza Companies, and Southwest Ambulance February 2010 - APRO Golf Charities has selected Community Dental Foundation as their Charity for their 2nd Annual Golf Charity at Ancala Country Club November 2009 - Special thanks to all of your support for our Splendor In November.
